Batu Caves is a limestone outcrop, most popular of the 10 caves. which at one time used as a shelter by the Aborigines during their hunting trips. It was discovered by Sir William Hornaby in 1878 and is home of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam who is honored during Thaipusam every year. Devotees give thanks for vows fulfilled. This place is called the Independent Square where Malaysia was proclaimed independence on 31 August 1957. Its the most photograped colonial landmark spot as it houses the Sultan Abdul Samad Moorish styled courthouse and the Tudor styled Clubhouse.

Visit St Mary's Church and the Jamek Mosque where Kuala Lumpur got her name. Drive part Old Railway Station and the National Mosque. Take a walkabout of Little India a place specially designated for the Indian Community selling textiles, Indian traditional goods and restaurant serving food on a banana leaf.

After lunch depart for the Cruise Terminal arriving 4pm for your onward journey.

Jamek mosque is the oldest mosque having being built by the British with Mughal, Islamic and Moorish design. It is here that Kuala Lumpur got her name - the confluence of 2 rivers.

BANANA LEAF LUNCH After a frolicking time with the monkeys,adjourn for Banana Leaf Lunch - an Indian encounter and a take home thrill, having to eat with your fingers.
