National Palace or Istana Negara (in Malay) is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim (formerly Jalan Duta) in Segambut, northwestern Kuala Lumpur. Travelers are only able to catch a glimpse of the magnificent complex from outside its entrance gates. Besides, you can take a photo with royal guard at the main gate.

Merdeka Square or (in Malay called as Dataran Merdeka) is a square located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was here the Union Flag was lowered and the Malayan flag hoisted for the first time at midnight (time: 12:00 AM) on 31 August 1957. Since then, Merdeka Square has been the usual venue for the annual Merdeka Parade (National Day Parade). The travelers can take a photo here.

The massive model measures an incredible 40ft x 50ft (12m x 15m)

Masjid Negara, Malaysia’s National Mosque, is the nationwide symbol of Islam. The main dome of the National Mosque is designed in the shape of an 18-point star to represent the 13 states of Malaysia and the five central Pillars of Islam, and has the appearance of a partly opened umbrella roof which symbolises the aspirations of an independent nation. Non-Muslims are welcome to visit the striking National Mosque outside of prayer time.

Central Market is a famous landmark for Malaysian culture and heritage. The building was built in 1888 and originally functioned as a wet market. It has since been classified as a Heritage Site.Travelers flock to Central Market for its variety of handicrafts, art, kebaya, songket, batik and authentic Malaysian souvenirs.
