The tour starts when the tour guide/chauffeur pick you up from airport or hotel in Lijiang/kunming with Motorhome.

The recommended route:

Day 1 (Presumed Half Day): Your guide will take you to a local guesthouse in Lijiang for a good sleep and you could ride a bike around Lijiang old town if time allows.

Day 2: It will take you to the first stop--Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The Mountain is the southernmost glacier, which is a sanctuary for rare animals and wild plants. After lunch, move on to visit Lijiang old town. a place with 3 UNESCO world heritage sites. Lijiang's Naxi people still preserve much of their native Dongba culture and deep spiritual connection to nature. Lunch: Local Chicken or Rib Hotpot. Stay: Motorhome

Day 3: Drive to the East Eden--- Shangri-La in the morning. Shangri-La, a city with 1300 years history, is described as the first place sees the sun. You will have one whole day to go around the city by bicycle. Lunch: Local Tibetan Cuisine, Stay: Motorhome

Day 4: Pudacuo Forest Park. Pudacuo means Get out of Sea of Troubles in local language. This is a paradise of birds and animals. The forest changes colors in different seasons, which makes Pudacuo an ideal place of Photography. You will have one day to stay here and tour around by bike. Lunch: Local Tibetan Cuisine. Stay: Motorhome/Camping.

Day 5: Shaxi Old Town. Shaxi, the only town on Tea-horse road could be seen until today. The tea horse union and its culture are kept completely there. The culture and buildings of Bai Ethnic are scattered around. You can still feel the prosperity of the old town since the ancient time. Lunch: Bai Ethnic Cuisine. Stay: Motorhome/Camping

Day 6: Nuodeng Old Village. Nuodeng old village is a miniature of old Yunnan society, not deeply influenced by the central Chinese culture. Built on a steep slope above the ancient salt wells, Nuodeng is famous for its ham and for its well-preserved centuries-old residential housing made of red rammed-earth. Sites to visit : the salt well, ancient courtyards which belonged to wealthy locals and Confucian and Taoist temples. Lunch: Nuodeng Ham. Stay: Motorhome

Day 7: Dali and Xizhou. Xizhou-- with one thousand years history-- is next to Dali old town. This is the best window through which you could know Bai ethnic culture. Zhoucheng Town is the largest village of Bai ethnic people, where is famous for cloth dying. Lunch: Local Flavor dessert, Chicken etc. Stay: Motorhome by Erhai Lake. 

Day8: Hot Spring Land, Cibi Lake. Hot Spring Land is the largest hot spring in Asia with 666 sqm in the centre of forest and grassland. Cibi lake is the source of Erhai lake, where you could take a boat to the lake centre. Lunch: Local Cuisine in Cibi Lake Restaurant or BBQ. Stay: Motorhome by Hot spring Land

Day 9: Return to Lijiang Hotel or Airport (As per your Schedule).
