Mt. Batur sunrise trekking is a short yet beautiful hike, with a spectacular 360 degree view of the island. Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and walk around the crater, and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Mt. Batur is a must for anyone wanting to experience Bali’s rich, and lush nature. Nestled in the Kintamani region, Mt. Batur is the easiest of the hikes in Bali. This hike will take you 2-3 hours, or if you’re of a decent fitness, as little as 1 ½ hours. The mountain is 1,717m above sea level. Beginner hikers will be in for a treat here as most fitness levels will be able to make it, even if it takes a little longer. The climb is through some rough slippery terrain however, so prepare a decent pair of shoes. The climb starts in darkness so be prepared to whisk out your flashlights that your guide will provide.
