In Kyoto, traditionally, there are various kinds of bamboo products made of a great variety of bamboo. For many centuries, the people of Kyoto have had a tradition of making many different items out of bamboo.

How about trying to make your own bamboo basket for your memories of Kyoto. Bamboo wood has long been loved by people as traditional crafts in Kyoto. You can feel the skill of the craftsmen who cultivated in that history in this bamboo basket experience. Please enjoy braiding bamboo and making your own bamboo basket. All skill levels are welcome, so please do not hesitate to sign up.
