Sencha is a type of green tea and the most commonly drunk tea in Japan. While leaning the history and manners of Senchado, you can enjoy delicious sencha and sweets.

First you will take part in the sencha tea ceremony as a guest. While watching the host's performance of making tea, taste sencha and sweets from Kyoto, the locals' favorite. An easy experience in 30 minutes is recommended for the customers who don't have much time.

The tea room will be lit up after the 6 pm session and the sencha tea ceremony is held in a mystical atmosphere. (the contents of the experience is same as the daytime session)

If you chose another plan including making tea (90 minutes), you can try the procedure for making tea by yourself. As the tea is prepared on the table, you do not need to sit straight on the tatami mat.

Tea utensil and tea leaves are on sale. Why not enjoy the delicious sencha at home following the manners you just learned?
