Combination Tour: 4 Activities in 1 Day

With the people who come to La Fortuna with limited time or those who simply want to maximize their time in the area in mind, we have designed this alternative to show you the main attractions located around the volcano. There is no doubt that our forests are one of the highlights, therefore we will first visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges to walk through the forest along trails and bridges that allow you to see plants and animals from high above. If you prefer, you can change this activity for Ecocentro Danaus, a reserve of forest naturally regenerated through a conservation program. This trail is apt for people of all ages and abilities and allows you to observe the amazing fauna of the area all year long. Then, at 11:30, we will visit the second place of interest, the La Fortuna Waterfall, famous for its height of 60 meters (197 feet). There you can take a refreshing swim in its cool waters or take pictures of its beauty. For lunchtime at 1:30, we will stop at a nice restaurant near at the town of La Fortuna with 5 or more choices a la carte. Later, around 3:00, we will head towards the Arenal Volcano National Park to hike on the trail called Lava Slides to the closest possible safe point. From there, if the skies are clear, the views of the Arenal Lake, the secondary forest, and the areas devastated by previous eruptions will be impressive. In the evening, we will make our last stop at the hot springs of your choice. When you make your reservation, you will choose one of the 6 options, with or without dinner. We will drop you off at the springs at 6:30 pm to enjoy them on your own, and then we will pick you back up and take you to your hotel at 9:30 pm.
