The La Guaria Finca Bosque (Jungle Farm) Tour

This tour is our signature tour, it is a perfect tour for all ages. ALL OF OUR TOURS ARE PRIVATE we don't line you up with 10-15 strangers you don't know, just you and your partner, spouse, family, or friends, no one else except your tour guides. Our forested farm is located in the pueblo of La Guaria and is so much more than an American type of farm. We have over 4,00 acres of forest, steep hills, deep valleys to ride across, and mud to drive thru (weather permitting) , and at every turn you can see the towering Arenal Volcano. As we were carving out the trails thru the jungle areas, up and down the foothills of the Arenal volcano and through the valleys we were constantly in awe of the sheer beauty of the landscape. One of the favorite parts of the tour is the Mirador (viewpoint). Here, from 150 meters high, you look out over a serene valley where the confluence of the Rio Palma and Rio Arenal come together, it is truly a one of a kind view. Along the way it is possible you may see sloths, toucans, howler monkeys, poison dart frogs and leaf cutter ants. This tour is approximately 24 km long round trip from our office and lasts between 2.5 - 3 hours from the time you arrive at our office until you return. You should allow approx 3 hours from the time you arrive at our office until you return from the tour. We do have a "beach" type of outdoor shower and restrooms so you can change clothes.
