Stop At: Badwater Rd. 19 mi south of Furnace Creek, Death Valley National Park, CA 92328
Spend approximately four hours in the park. Stop at the Badwater Salt Flats, which marks the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere at approximately 280 feet below sea level. The Badwater Salt Flats also boasts the hottest recorded temperatures on earth, taken in 1913.

Next, tour the Borax Museum at Furnace Creek Ranch, the oldest structure in Death Valley.

On the return trip to Las Vegas, journey through Death Valley Junction, home of the Amargosa Opera House and Hotel. Built between 1923-1925, the opera house did not blossom until Marta Becket — an actress, opera singer, painter, and builder — made it her home and canvas, which is evident throughout the building. Round-trip transportation, plus lunch, snacks, and bottled water are provided.
