Stop At: Pantanos de Villa, Lima, Lima Region

Birdwatching in a protected natural area within Lima's urban area. These series of lagoons and marshes are an important stop for migratory birds, who recharge energy here before continuing their trip. Between residents and migratory birds, more than 210 species have been recorded here.
Here we might see the Many-colored Rush-Tyrant, Wren-like Rushbird, Pied Billed Grebe, Great Grebe, Andean Coot, Yellow-crowned Night Heron, Yellow hooded blackbird, Peruvian Meadowlark, Puna Ibis, Andean Duck, White Cheeked Pintail, Cinnamon Teal, Black Skimmer, Andean Gull, Kelp Gull, Belcher’s Gull, among many others.

Stop At: Parque El Olivar, Lima, Lima Region

Here we might be able to see a good sample of the birds of Lima’s urban area. For example: Tropical Kingbird, Vermilion Flycatcher, Saffron Finch, Blue-Grey Tanager, Long Tailed Mockingbird, Scrub Blackbird, Croaking Ground-dove, West Peruvian Dove, Rufous Collared Sparrow, Shiny Cowbird and Amazilia Hummingbird.
