About this activity
You will meet your bilingual (and very passionate foodie) guide at the market at 10:30 am, where you will get to try local products and ingredients, learn where they´re from, how they are used, etc. After about 45 minutes, you´ll be driven towards a kitchen, which is set up for a maximum of 10 students. There, the chef will teach you how to make, with your own hands, 3 of Peru’s most famous dishes: Causa, Ceviche or Tiradito and Lomo Saltado. You will also get to see how Pisco Sour is made and try some... or a lot! At the end, you´ll also be able to try a local dessert. The class is great for kids 6 & up, but younger kids can come along too. By informing in advance, the recipes can be altered for Vegetarian, Vegan or any allergy restrictions. The class finishes around 2:30 pm in Miraflores. The price of the tour and class includes all ingredients, drinks, dessert and everything you try at the market.
