The Portuguese cuisine is like no other, due to the historical contact with different cultures, the cuisine is very rich and diverse with a wide choice of meats and seafood. Famous for its rich wine and amazing cheese, the Portuguese gastronomy has a long history. 

We invite you to loosen up your belt and join this tour with an expert and friendly guide to tell you all the stories you need to know about the Portuguese gastronomy while tasting different small-plates (petiscos) and drinks in 3 different restaurants.

This walk will take you first to the downtown to a very intriguing and hidden house where you can discover all about Alentejo region and try there a typical meat plate.

Next, the guide will take you up hill, giving you a small break with beautiful tales and details about the city, arriving to Bairro Alto where we will be introduced to a very typical soup to be found in every Portuguese table in times of festivities, invented in Minho region and spread throughout the country.

To finish our lovely walk and discovery of tastes and culture you will be introduced to a very special Codfish dish, invented by one of the inhabitant in Bairro alto.
