About this activity
Meet your guide and set off to discover Lisbon’s Alfama district, the oldest neighborhood in the city. Explore the area on a walking tour to see how locals live, check out the spectacular houses, and hear traditional Fado, which has been given UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage status.
The biggest fragment of the oldest city wall, called Cerca Velha, was built in the 5th century by the Romans and enlarged by the Arabs. It can be seen in the courtyard and interior of the palace during dinner. Feast on a delicious traditional meal complete with appetizers, a main course, dessert, wine and coffee.
Several artifacts from excavations in the surrounding area are also on display. As you dine, sit back and enjoy the sounds of traditional Fado, a local tradition. This tour is limited to eight people for a more intimate experience.
