About this activity
Beach Tour - Sitgo
This tour not only allows you get to know a part of Belém, but is also a great opportunity to stroll through Tagus River by boat, giving you a chance to see the city from a different point of view of Lisbon and visit the little village of Trafaria and the beach.
You will start your Tagus River adventure by going to the Belém Ferry station, where you can enjoy a brilliant view of the 25th April Brigde and Christ The King. The ferry docks at Trafaria Terminal, where you start the 2nd part of your adventure.
Trafaria is a little village where fishermen lived in little typical wooden houses. In 1565 a hospital for plague quarantine was built here and, in 1683, the Nossa Senhora da Saúde Fort. The sands and waters of this beach are used by the fishermen to keep their boats safe.
After this experience you will return to Belém.
