About this activity

You start the tour crossing the 25th of April Bridge direction to Cristo Rei. Then you come back to the north side of Rio Tejo, direction to Belém. You will visit the Jerónimos Monastery (ticket included) and you will make small stops to see the Belém Tower and the Discoveries Monument, without forgetting to taste the delicious and world-famous traditional pastry: the “Pastel de Belém”.

Around lunchtime, you will have free time to explore the LX Factory, a historic industrial complex with several artistic shops of different concepts, restaurants, and unique cafes, as well as the bookstore that was considered one of the 10 most beautiful in the world. After lunch, you will do sightseeing around the city, until Parque das Nações. Here you will have some free time to enjoy an area that used to be an ugly industrial area until it was chosen as the site to host the last world fair of the 20th century, Expo 98.
