Walking Tour of Plecnik's Ljubljana

During a pleasant walk from the starting point, the Tourist Information Centre at the Triple Bridge, through Šance at the Ljubljana Castle hill to Plečnik House on the Karunova ulica street in the Trnovo district, some of his best works are revealed to you on a guided tour. One of the peaks is visiting the grand reading room in the National and University Library (NUK), which is probably Plečnik’s most significant work in Slovenia. Treat yourself to Plečnik’s tea and Plečnik’s honey cookie in the NUK café. The tour ends in the renovated Plečnik House, where the architect lived and created. This is the place where the idea of Plečnik's Ljubljana came to life. The house displays the architect's home with all original interior and exterior equipment and a permanent museum exhibition.
