Wine tasting tour - Vipava wine region, Slovenia

Departure from Ljubljana in the morning and making our way to the Vipava wine region. During the comfortable drive, an overview of the Slovenian wine, wine regions, some history and wine culture is given. Arrival at a great winery after less than an hour-long drive, where you will learn - about winemaking and their wine. Tasting of Vipava specialties accompanied by local olive oil and bread.

Aside wine tasting of indigenous wines of Vipava, this tour offer s a guided tour of Goče, a picturesque stone village with 75 underground wine cellars. The charming owner of well-preserved traditional farm, whose hospitality, knowledge, meal of fresh and local ingredients and wine degustation will make you reluctant to leave. The lunch is accompanied with wines of our host and set to an enchantingly authentic atmosphere.

For this exceptional lunch it is very important that the tour is booked well in advance, so we can ensure availability with the host. In the case that the host is unavailable, the lunch will be served in another lovely restaurant by the river in Vipava.

After lunch you will enjoy a second wine tasting at another exceptional winemaker of Vipava valley.
