About this activity
This wonderful walk goes through the heart of London.

London is a city of animals. They live in parks, gardens and are commemorated in sculptures, buildings and tales. Your Guide will meet you at Embankment Station where you will start from the Camel Memorial. Follow your guide to Trafalgar Square where you will learn a secret about London’s main lions. Continue along Whitehall before you arrive at Horse Guards Museum, where you can see magnificent horses doing their job. On your way you will notice plenty of pigeons with some of them having proper adult jobs!

On the way through the Whitehall you will pass by 10 Downing Street where your Guide will tell you about cats ‘Larry and Palmerstone’, two rivals who live just across each other and make noisy fights while Theresa May is asleep!

Continue along the street before you come into green Oasis - St James Park, where you will enjoy watching pelicans and swans before discovering how crocodiles filled that park in 16th Century! Go along the busy streets and enter to Hyde Park which was a former deer hunting ground park before you finish at the Animals in War Memorial.
