London Coliseum Backstage Theater Tour

Learn of the Coliseum's rich and colourful years as a ‘Palace of Variety’ and later, of its transformation into the Opera House of today. Witness for yourselves a small section of a ENO working day. The tour is full of stories, characters, anecdotes and facts, but its star is the theatre itself, of course, viewed in all its glory from inside the astonishing auditorium. The Tour, which lasts up to an hour and a half, starts in the foyer and does an entire circuit of the building, including the backstage area. There are rather a lot of staircases to climb (not suitable for people with mobility problems).
