For many children, spending a lot of time indoors while having to be quiet and not being allowed to touch anything doesn't sound like much fun. So, although you would love to visit the National Gallery while you are in London, you don't think it would such a great idea for the kids. Well….think again! The kids will absolutely love the tour we have devised for them.

The tour will be led by an expert guide who is absolutely brilliant with children. The whole family will embark on a treasure hunt which will take them through one of the finest and most prestigious art galleries on earth. Your children will be entertained and kept occupied, giving you the opportunity to savour the art and culture surrounding you.

Some of the most prized works of art in Europe by some of the greatest artists are on display in the National Gallery, and your guide will make sure you don't miss any of the highlights, including work by the likes of Botticelli, Dürer, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, Rubens, Rembrandt, Degas, Cézanne, Monet, Van Gogh and many more besides.

The National Gallery's collection covers a period of seven hundred years and contains a total of more than 2,300 pieces, dating from the late medieval period right up to the French Impressionists.

Before you meet your guide and enter the gallery, take the time to look around Trafalgar Square and admire the splendid building that houses the National Gallery.
