About this activity

Your guide will pick you up from your central London hotel in a traditional black taxi and you will head out of the capital.

On the tour you will visit the world's largest fully occupied castle and see the state rooms, when available, and treasures including art by Rembrandt. You will visit the gardens, St Georges Chapel (except Sundays), and the tombs of Charles I, George III and Henry VIII.

From Windsor you will journey through old Windsor and Windsor Great Park to the one-time island of Runnymede, where in 1215 King John sealed the Magna Carta.

From Runnymede you will travel to Hampton Court, which lies on the river Thames. This famous palace was built by Cardinal Wolsey and given to Henry VIII. Here you will visit the state apartments and the marvelous, traditional gardens laid out in the 17th century.
