About this activity
Board the train at the main station in Lucerne for the Silver round-trip package. After a 20-minute train ride you arrive at the Valley Station in Alpnachstad. There the cozy Chalet Restaurant serves traditional food on its terrace (own expense). The world’s steepest cogwheel railway, built in 1889, transports you through fascinating rock faces, sparkling mountain streams and lush meadows carpeted with Alpine flowers to the top of Mount Pilatus.

Enjoy the panoramic views at 7,000 feet (2,132-meters) over the lake of Lucerne and the Alps on the summit and decide if you want to stay inside the panoramic gallery, relax on the terrace, climb one of the peaks (5-10 minutes) or enjoy a meal in a restaurant (own expense).

Enjoy an exhilarating 5-minute descent on the new aerial cableway 'Dragon Ride' to Fräkmüntegg. Its spacious interior, cockpit-like design and large windows provides the exhilarating impression of being in a helicopter.

Enjoy activities in Fräkmüntegg such as testing your agility climbing the rope park (own expense). Ride the panoramic gondola. A 15-minute ride brings you down to Krienseregg. In Krienseregg the 'Pilu Land', a playground for children, awaits you. Sit and relax on the terrace of the Restaurant Krienseregg (own expense) while the children play. Continue your descent on the panoramic gondola to Kriens in 15 minutes.

After a 5-minute walk you reach the bus station (Kriens, Zentrum Pilatus). Take bus number 1 and in 10 minutes you arrive at the railway station in Lucerne.
