Stop At: Temple of Karnak, Luxor Egypt

Be picked up from your hotel and then visit The Temples of Karnack, the biggest temple complex in the world, covering an area of 100 hectares. On entering the Temples you will see each legacy left by the various pharaohs as the complex grew even larger. The deeper you go into the complex, the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3,000 years. Then visit the Great Hypostyle Hall, with its 102 meters wide and 53 meters long and 134 columns towering above, was called the columns forest. At the rear of the complex lies the sacred lake, where centuries ago, pharaohs and their offerings to the gods were purified. Move to Luxor Temple: it is really a pure Egyptian temple, the inner walls and columns are decorated with intricate hieroglyphics which the tour guide will help to decipher. It was once joined to the Temples of Karnack by a long Avenue of Sphinx, some of them remain. Originally, the temple was faced by pair of obelisks. One of them is still on its place, while the other is now standing on "La Place de la Concord" in Paris. Alexander the Great had written himself into the Luxor Temple history. You will then be returned to your hotel in Luxor.
