These belong to the pharaohs of the New Kingdom including Rameses the Great and Tuthankhamun, whose body still lies inside the outmost coffin despite the treasures having been moved to the Egyptian Museum.

As you marvel at the intricate hieroglyphics, your guide will explain to you why the Royal Families were buried on the West Bank & then you will be taken to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Architecturally stunning, this temple would not look out of place with modern buildings and contains beautiful murals on its inner walls.
