J.C., born and raised in the city of Madrid, the musical background of Kasper comes from a variety of music, from post punk, rock, jazz, through hip hop, soul, etc ...
His first contact with electronic music was in the mid 90's in the Real de Oviedo, but it was not until the year 2000 when he finally decided to take an active part of it. Clearly influenced by the music of Detroit, Chicago, New York and European labels such as Basic Channel, Mosaic, Perlon, etc ... began his career as a DJ with the Madrid Collective RDT organizing illegal parties in the periphery of the Spanish capital at the beginning of the 2000
In addition to the EPs on labels such as Deeply Rooted, Tresor Records and Simsism by Ben Sims, he has also released his own labels, Cabrera and A Harmless Deed. The 2015 was a success with a complete full immersion in Fred P's Soul People Music, "Portrait of the Flying Sky". It was a very well received album that found J.C. Filled with refined rhythms, bleeps and bass slicks and subtly spaced synths, it proved to be a huge hit among DJs, dancers and the world press.
At the end of 2016 he released his second LP through Semantica Records, entitled "Mugako", the name of the festival he organizes together with the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Basque Country in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
His success has led him to play in much of the world and many of the most respected clubs in the music scene. Until in 2014 he became part of the resident team at the legendary club Tresor.Berlin (OFFICIAL), which used to join visceral techno soundtracks, electro and ambient whenever it was necessary to complete the musical. way by which it takes you.
