2days from Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga desert (camel trek)

Day1 : Marrakech – Merzouga( Erg Chebbi) (657klm)

We will depart this morning from Marrakech at 5:30 am in the morning and start travelling Marrakech to Ouarzazate via the Tichka Pass (2260m) the highest road pass in Morocco. The panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains and magnificent landscapes, scenery peppered by small Berber villages typical of the region. Our travel continues along what is known as the Road the magnificent plam garden of the Draa valley and you well discover along the track of the ancient caravan route to Agdz,continue via nkob ,tazarine ,alnif and rissani Rissani one of thisoldest cities in Morocco, and the capital of desting Alaoui, this spot was centuries ago a very busy commercial trade centre sun-saharan African and to the North. way toward Merzouga the doorway into the desert where your guide and camels will be waiting for you to carry you across the sandy dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. Camel trek as the sun set across the desert landscape, for approximately 1 to 2 hours to reach you desert camp for the night. Your guide will prepare for you refreshing mint tea and dinner of tagine. Romantic night full of stars with berber music. Overnight in a Nomad Tent, dinner & breakfast.

Day 2: Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – Fes (445klm)

You will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, possibly the best moment of the Merzouga desert. Make your way after breakfast towards Fes along the scenic Ziz Valley Gorge, via Azrou and the cedar forests where colony of monkeys will keep you amused. Drop off at your Riad / Hotel in Fez.
