Meet your friendly guide and set off on an of Old City walking tour. Start with the impressive 11th century Koutoubia mosque towering above the rest of the city. This historical masterpiece was used as a model for many mosques and churches around the world, such as the Giralda mosque in Seville and Moscow red square churches.

Stroll along some of the oldest quarters in the old city and enter one the historical gates to discover the medieval way of life of its inhabitants and their daily occupations. Along the way, you will see old fountains and historical caravanserai called Fondouks used once as hotels for the caravan traders. They are still in use today by local artisans who have set their workshops in many of them to perpetuate their ancestral skills of making all sorts of crafts.

Visit also an old bakery and taste the freshly baked local bread, see the furnace that heats the public steam baths and learn the role they play in the social life of each quarter.

Walk past the impressive ruins of the 16th century Grand Badi Palace and witness the former glory of this imperial city during the reign of Sultan Ahmed El Mansour. The palace was once considered the 8th wonder of the world.

Visit the most beautiful palace and monument of Marrakech, the Bahia Palace. Built in the late 19th century, the name literally means "brilliance" and was intended to be the greatest palace of its time. The best workers and artisans of the country have worked continuously for six years (1894-1900) to achieve it.

A haggler’s paradise, the alluring lanes of bazaars in the vibrant souks at the famous entertaining Djemaa El Fna square exhibit exotic goods and intriguing crafts from Morocco’s past, a veritable open-air theater that always amazes its visitors.
