About this activity
The Ouzoud Waterfalls are one of the most amazing attractions in Morocco and are considered the highest waterfalls in Northern Africa (more than 1000 ft). Situated in the middle of the Atlas Mountains, this natural wonder is a three hour drive east of Marrakech, and is well worth the trip. In the morning, we will leave Marrakech and head to Ouzoud. Before arriving, however, we will stop at Demnat, a small charming town with an old Mellah (Jewish quarter) where an important Jewish community settled in the early 12th century. On arrival to Ouzoud, enjoy the amazing view of the falls, and soak in the refreshing scents and sounds of nature. We will then go to a small traditional restaurant to eat a delicious Moroccan lunch with a view of the falls. You can also take a boat and get closer to the falls if you wish. In the late afternoon, we will head back to Marrakech.
