The road then twists through Holm Oak and juniper forest to the heart of the Mountains at Ouirgane.
A picnic lunch lakeside or at a Berber village will set you up to explore the surroundings, or take a walk through the valley, stopping off for a cup of tea with a Berber family.
Alternatively if you are feeling the need for a relaxing afternoon- why not consider an hour or two next to a swimming pool, with a refreshing drink in a local Ksar or garden?
