Explore the ancient UNESCO listed city of Avignon during a guided walking tour of the historic center with your guide. Discover the fortifications and the famous Avignon Bridge, the Dom's garden and cathedral, the narrow medieval streets, squares and old church and visit the Pope's Palace. Lunch at leisure and free time in Avignon.
After lunch drive along the Rhone Valley to the Chateauneuf du Pape district and medieval village. There, you will enjoy a unique experience in old cellar used by the Pope in the 14th century. Taste 3 red and white wines of Chateauneuf du Pape. Walk along the village to admire the panoramic view from the old Pope's new castle.
The last tasting takes place in a 19th century castle where you will taste 3 red and white wines. Following this tasting you will return to the port of Marseille.
