Coffee Tour in Medellin

The coffee tour takes place in San Sebastián de Palmitas just 45 minutes from Medellín. You will be going to the hotel at 09.00 a.m. When you arrive at the farm you will be told a brief history about the origin of the coffee, you will be dressed in the typical dress of the paisa muleteer, hat, poncho, paruma, tail of a rooster. Later you are taken to a coffee plantation to carry out the coffee harvest, it becomes pulp and after drying it.

After performing these activities I will be offered a refreshing drink of musilago, where I will explain some techniques on how to prepare and drink coffee, eat a typical dish of the coffee region, a regular banana with honey and cheese and a short tasting will be done of coffee. Later he is given lunch and he prepares the coffee to his liking. A farm kit will be delivered with a coffee pack.
