Itinerary

Day 1: Medellin to Rio Claro

Stop At: Cocorna, Cocorna, Antioquia Department
Our first stop will be "El mirador de Cocorná"

A beautifull view of the Antioquia mountains with a small waterfall where you can have a coffee or a Chocolate, use reestrooms if needed an stretching your legs before continuing to Rio Claro.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Canon del Rio Claro, Autopista Medellin-Bogota en el kilometro 152, Puerto Triunfo Colombia
Just under 3,5 hours from Medellin lies a natural reserve of protected rainforest called “Reserva Natural Cañon Del Río Claro”. Known for its spectacular wildlife you’ll be able to share your afternoon with howler monkeys, white-footed Tamarin monkeys, toucans, parrots, herons, and a variety of fish.

One of the highlights of this tour is exploring the Cueva de los Guacharos, a 3 hour adventure inside a marble walled cave eroded by water.

Rio Claro is home to arguably the coolest accommodation in all of Colombia with open air jungle rooms perched up in the cliffs overlooking the river.

Day 2: Pablo Escobar's Hacienda Napoles

Stop At: Parque Tematico Hacienda Napoles, 165 km from Medellín - 249 km from Bogotá, Puerto Triunfo Colombia
There is plenty of things to do in Hacienda Nápoles theme park:

Water Park where kids and adults can have fun, a zoo with all the animals Pablo was collecting over the years, different restaurants with many options to explore.

This place used to be Pablo's country house and there is a museum with some memories, pictures and the remainings of the structure and a couple of classic cars.
