About this activity
Ella grew up being influenced by her Greek father and family, who were communal cooks. She has always loved food and has been cooking since she was a kid. After she left university for the last five years she has been working in professional kitchens, in Melbourne and overseas in Turkey, Israel, U.K and Greece. Ella also runs her own pop up restaurants around Melbourne and enjoys cooking with native produce - herbs, spices and ingredients that have been ethically sourced from Aboriginal farms. Ella’s strong love for traditional cooking and seasonal produce has encouraged her to work with local suppliers and continues to support them. Ella spends most of her time researching food and traditional ingredients and she would love to be able to share this knowledge with people.
