The pre-Hispanic city of Chichén Itzá was the most outstanding capital of the Mayan area, at the end of the Classic period and the beginnings of the Postclassic period. Upon the arrival of the Spaniards, it was constituted as the most revered center of worship and pilgrimage in the Yucatan peninsula. At present, it is a Sacred Center for the Mayans. The archaeological zone is a Cultural Heritage of Mexico, and due to its importance, it was internationally recognized, when it was declared and it was inscribed in the list of World Heritage by UNESCO, in 1988.

Your day start at your hotel in Mérida where you'll picked up to reach Chichen Itza in a comfortable and air-conditioned minivan. You will tour with a certificated guide the ancient capital of the Mayan empire and discover the mysteries most significant in this arqueological site. You'll see the Great Plaza, hailed as the social and spiritual heart of the city, the Pyramid of Kukulcan. Marvel at the pyramid’s perfect symmetry!
