About this activity
You will be picked up from your hotel and enjoy a tour visiting this beautiful city who was founded upon the arrival of the Spaniards in 1542, on the remains of the ancient Mayan city of Tho. Part of its colonial architecture corresponding to the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries can be appreciated in the center of the city. During the nineteenth century urban architecture acquired French features in harmony with the economic boom for the cultivation of henequen. The Paseo Montejo is an avenue built at the time and inspired by the great boulevards of Paris, imposing mansions were built on its sides. Enjoy this tour knowing: Plaza Grande, Paseo de Montejo, Las Americas Park, Ermita Park y San Sebastian.
