About this activity

Uxmal and Kabah are two ancient Mayan cities located south of Mérida. They now comprise two of the most important archaeological sites in the Yucatan Peninsula.

The tour departs from Mérida heading to the archaeological site of Uxmal. Here the guide will take you to the most important sites, including the Platform of the Stelae, the Ball Court, the Temple of the Magician, and Nunnery Quadrangle. Later you will visit the archaeological site of Kabah, famous for its entry sac-bé (a pedestrian causeway 18 kilometers long and 5 meters wide with Triumphal arches at both ends, connected to Uxmal), the Codz Poop or Palace of the Masks, the Palace Group and the Great Pyramid. At the end of the tour you will return to Uxmal to eat and then return to Mérida.
