12-Day Southeast Mexico Tour: Oaxaca, Chiapas, Palenque, Merida and Riviera Maya

Day 1: Arrival Transfer

Welcome at the Mexico City.

Day 2: Mexico City (B)

Breakfast. We will start our city tour visiting the cultural and historic Heritage downtown district where we will find the National Palace and its beautiful murals, painted by the muralist Diego Rivera, the constitution square or "Zocalo", the Main Aztec Temple and the Metropolitan Cathedral.

Day 3: Mexico City - Puebla - Oaxaca (B)

Breakfast. We will begin our journey towards the City of Puebla of the Angels.Then we will visit Puebla’s Historic Center,The Cathedral and the Main Square. Continue to Oaxaca. Overnight

Day 4: Oaxaca - Monte Alban - Mitla - Tule (B)

Breakfast. we will visit Monte Alban, archeological site build over a mountain. From here we will visit Mitla: The City of the Dead. We will see the great Tule tree. We will return to Oaxaca city. Overnight.

Day 5: Oaxaca - Sumidero - San Cristobal (B)

Breakfast on route. Departure around 4:00 hrs. towards Tuxtla Gutierrez. Arrival to the pier in order to visit the Sumidero Canyon by boat. Departure to San Cristobal de las Casas. Overnight.

Day 6: San Cristobal and Native Towns (B)

Breakfast. Visit San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan, native indigenous people who preserve their traditions, language, religious beliefs and social organization. Free afternoon. We suggest walking around this beautiful city. Accommodation.

Day 7: San Cristobal - Agua Azul - Palenque (B)

Breakfast. Continue to Agua Azul Falls, to admire its turquoise colored waters. Continue to Palenque. Overnight.

Day 8: Palenque - Campeche (B)

Breakfast. Visit to Palenque, declared a cultural and archaeological heritage site by UNESCO. Departure towards Campeche to find a beautiful view of the Mexican Gulf. We will continue to the beautiful walled city of Campeche. Panoramic city tour of Campeche. Overnight.

Day 9: Campeche - Uxmal - Merida (B)

Breakfast. Departure to Uxmal, another impressive cultural l heritage site. Continue to Merida, "the White City" to take a panoramic tour. Overnight.

Day 10: Merida - Chichen Itza - Cancun/Riviera Maya (B)

Breakfast. Departure towards Chichen Itza, The most renown Mayan city in Mexico. We will Also have the opportunity once we arrive to the Majestic Cenote IK-IL. Continue to Cancun or Mayan Riviera. Overnight.

Day 11: Cancun or Riviera Maya (B)

Breakfast. free day at leisure or for your own activities.

Day 12: Departure Transfer (B)

Breakfast. At the time indicated, transfer to the airport to board your return flight home.
