About this activity

A cultural guide will accompany you to discover the exhibition "CITTÀDIMILANO" by Giorgio Andreotta Calò (Venice, 1979; he lives and works in Italy and the Netherlands), one of the most interesting Italian artists of recent years. He is famous for representing Italy at the 57th Biennial of Venice (2017).

An integral part of his artistic methodology is the constant re-elaboration and reconfiguration of his works based on the geographical and cultural context in which they are exhibited: for "CITTÀDIMILANO" the artist focuses on his sculptural practice, presenting in close dialogue works made from 2008 to today. Here you can discover these works as part of a single landscape, which transforms the perception of the environment and highlights the links that exist between the works themselves.
