About this activity
We will visit a famous Boots Manufacture in Milan, close to the barrack that hosted the Savoy Cavalry regiment. This workshop is an excellence in leather manufacturing holding the heritage and the experience of master’s shoemakers who produced boots for the regiment. In the elegant atelier you can order shoes hand-made and hand-sewn in every step: from the foot imprint on paper, to the template and shapes production, and finally the upper.

With the itinerary Historical and Precious Leather you will explore the interesting collection of fifteenth and sixteenth century Italian manufactured leather objects housed in Museo Bagatti Valsecchi. Then we will discover authentic excellence in leathercraft at an historical boot manufacture.

The guided visit will starts at 2:30pm from the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum (Via Gesù, 5 Milano). Admission ticket included. Transfert with public transport from the museum to the artisan shop included.
