About this activity

The fifteenth-century Sforza Castle was commissioned by Francesco Sforza, the former Duke of Milan. The residence of the city’s lords for four centuries, Sforza Castle was one of the biggest citadels in Europe. Today the castle overlooks Sempione Park, the largest park in the city. Following an extensive restoration work carried out at the beginning of the twentieth century, it now houses several of the city's museums and art collections.

This skip-the-line ticket allows the visitor to access the Sforza Castle Museums:

  • Pinacoteca del Castello Sforzesco: saves a rich collection of paintings, including works by Filippo Lippi, Antonello da Messina, Mantegna, Canaletto, Correggio, Tiepolo and the last statue by Michelangelo, the Rondanini Pietà
