A UNESCO protected Trinity-Sergius Lavra in Sergiev Posad is the most revered monastery in Russia. The monastery happened to be a stage for many dramatical events of Russian history since the 14th century. Until today it has been a place of pilgrimage of thousands of Russian believers. You can feel like one of them!

In the morning I will pick you up in Moscow and drive you to Sergiev Posad town. It usually takes 1. 5 hours and it is better to start early, at 8-9 am.

Upon our arrival we will start with the oldest and most venerated places of the monastery - the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity from the 15th century. Then we will visit other stunning monastic landmarks full of legends and true stories which happened there starting from the 14th century to the Soviet period.

You will have an opportunity to try Kvas (traditional fermented drink brewed locally)!

After the tour we may have lunch in a canteen for pilgrims or in an excellent restaurant with traditional Russian cuisine.
