Stop At: Fountain Youth Initiative, Mwihoko Rd, Githurai, Kenya

For one day experience real life in Kenya. On a tour led by local women guides, explore the informal settlement of Githurai, and learn what Fountain Youth Initiative, a small non-profit, is doing to transform and impact the lives of urban women and youth. Amid colourful street vendors, animals roaming the streets, and the most innovative forms of just getting by, you’ll visit local schools, meet entrepreneurs in Fountain’s microfinance program, where you’ll also have a chance to shop and support their businesses. After lunch, enjoy cultural performances during a visit to a community performing arts center. ( For lunch you’ll enjoy authentic Kenyan food, served at a local church)
