This is a statue of one of Kenya's greatest politician that was murdered along the opposite street that was named after him.

Stop At: Nairobi Gallery, Nairobi SW2 4DN Kenya

, located at the intersection between Uhuru Highway and Kenyatta Avenue. Built in 1913, this was the Old PC’s office building fondly referred to as ‘Hatches, Matches and Dispatches’ because of the births, marriages and deaths that were recorded here. Today, the building is a national monument and serves as a museum holding temporary art exhibitions. Before you get here,you will see varios attractions such as Dedan Kimathi Satue, Statues on Kenyatta avenue and the Galton Fenzi Memorial.

The main attraction here is the Freedom Corner, which was set up as a memorial to the struggles of Nobel Laurrete Professor Wangari Maathai and other women went through in a fight to protect the park from the construction of high rise buildings.

Stop At: August 7th Memorial Park, Moi Avenue/Hail Selassie Junction, Nairobi Kenya

This is the site of the bomb blast that took place on the 7th of August 1998. This attacked left a great mark in the Kenyan history. On the way, you will see parliament, the KICC and other important buildings in Nairobi.

This is where old steam locomotives are exhibited, including the one from which Superintendent John Lyall was taken from by a man-eating lion in Tsavo in 1901.
