Your first stop, a visit to the Charles Krug Winery and an exploration into the history of the Napa Valley itself. The oldest winery in Napa Valley is home to the first tasting room in California and now prides itself on being a world-class destination with exceptional wines. And more than 150 years of winemaking experience to discover.
Your Wine Train tour brings you to this legendary estate, a legacy created by an icon, Charles Krug—a Prussian immigrant, teacher, revolutionary, and visionary—carried on by the storied Mondavi family, true Napa Valley pioneers. Tour the beautiful estate, stroll the property’s lush Culinary Institute of America farm-to-table garden, enjoy a tasting of prized wines and delicious varietals in the celebrated Redwood Cellar, and hear endless stories of the foundations Krug laid for wine industry.

From intimate barrel cellars to a living outdoor educational exhibit, Raymond Vineyards an experience you can see, feel, taste, and touch. Artful and elegant, whimsical and fun, this is a whole other world of discovery. Explore the winery from the inside out and get an exclusive look into the evolution of five generations of winemaking in the Napa Valley.
Tour of the Theater of Nature and discover organic and Biodynamic farming. Learn about the interplay between the soil, the vines and other plants, animals, and the vineyardist as a holistic system in harmony with the calendar and the moon. You’ll love the Red Room and the Crystal Cellar, a working cellar with gorgeous Baccarat chandeliers hanging from the ceilings and an extraordinary collection of historical crystal decanters.
