Ischia Opera Season: The Three Tenors

Inspired by the popular Three Tenors in Concert performance of L. Pavarotti, P. Domingo and J. Carreras, which took place in L.A. in 1994, this opera Academy reproduces this incredible and breathtaking musical experience with its renown artists.

The enticing voices of Alessandro Fortunato, Francesco Fortes and Stefano Sorrentino, supported by strings and piano, offer the audience an extraordinary concert with masterpieces of the Italian opera and the Neapolitan songs “O’Sole Mio”, “Torna a Surriento”, “Maria Marì” but also Italian songs like “Caruso” and “Con te partirò”.

The Royal Palace opens to the audience at 8.00 pm. You will have a glass of Italian spumante sparkling wine on the terrace overlooking the garden. The concert starts at 9.00 pm with the most famous Opera Arias. The first part ends with the Brindisi of Traviata, the festive opera aria by Giuseppe Verdi. After a brief break, you will listen to a unique medley of Renato Carosone compositions, like the song “Tu vuo’ fa’ l’americano“. Then, again, the three tenors voices with Italian and Neapolitan songs.
