Naples is famous all over the world for its pizza. Yet there is much more to this unique city’s culinary traditions. You will be pleasantly surprised by the variety and richness of flavours and recipes that you’ll discover through our walking food tour.

Our licensed tour guide, your Food Ambssador, will walk you through the city’s heart – the Centro Storico – into some of the best food venues of the city, known only to locals. We always make sure that you enjoy the highest quality and the most representative dishes.

The food tour starts with a toast, during which you will be introduced to Falanghina sparkling wine, a local product unknown beyond the area but to wine-experts for the many prizes that it has won. IN fact, wine coming from this region was greatly appreciated since ancient times by experts for its quality and uniqueness, but very little is sold outside the regional borders because… well, sometimes we keep the best for ourselves.

Moving then to the heart of the city, with its meandering streets and artisan shops, you will taste true mozzarella, and have a try at the best street food such as pizza fritta or frittatina di maccheroni, before moving on to what most locals call “the real stuff”. The tour goes on, in fact, through a sample of pasta made with unique local ingredients in explosive combinations of flavours, in one of the most renowned (and expensive!) restaurants of Naples. Of course, we couldn’t do without a delicious bruschetta with Colatura di alici (a special dressing with origins dating back to Roman times) and more local wine – of another kind this time, of course, because it must be paired with the food! The tour continues on to the restaurant of one of the most renowned Chefs in town, where traditional and innovative recipes are created only with the freshest ingredients and combined – again! – with some of the best regional wines. And of course, our tour couldn’t finish without having you sample some of the most famous Neapolitan cakes, made by one of the oldest and tastiest patisserie in town.
