About this activity
The route starts with the Fontanelle ossuary which was one of the quarries for the extraction of tuff to build the city of Naples.

Then we will visit the basilicas of Rione Sanità, the Early Christian basilica of San Gennaro Extra Moenia, which, after years of neglect, once more displays its austere beauty to the visitors to the catacombs and those attending the many events it hosts.

After we will pass by the outside of Palazzo dello Spagnuolo which is a prime example of Neapolitan Baroque, built in 1738 by the architect Ferdinando Sanfelice at the behest of the Marquis Nicola Moscati.

Then we will see Palazzo San Felice or Sanfelice Palace (Italian: Palazzo San Felice) which is a Rococo or late-Baroque-style palace at Via Sanità 167 in Rione Sanità in central Naples. It is best known for its elaborate staircase.

Our tour will end with a chocolate tasting in an historical chocolate shop.
