Pass By: India Gate, Near Connaught Place New Delhi, New Delhi 110001 India

Around 8 am, you will proceed on a guided tour of New Delhi, visiting such sights as Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar and The Iron Pillar which has survived the vagaries of weather for over 1500 years. Continue with a drive through Embassy area, the government buildings and Connaught Place, the heart and main shopping district of the capital. We also visit India Gate.


Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India

Later, we cross the city and into the walled gates of the Old City with visits to the Jamma Mosque and drive through the fabled area of Chandni Chowk (aptly translates to Moonlight Square) where the throngs of shoppers and vendors meet in the oldest area of Delhi.

Stop At: Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi Road, New Delhi 110002 India

Visit the Raj Ghat and nearby ghats where the founder of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi and thereafter Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were cremated.

Stop At: Humayun's Tomb, Mathura Road Opp Nizamuddin Mosque, New Delhi 110013 India

After that comes the Humayun’s Tomb, the first great example of a new distinctive style, which developed to become the hallmark of the Mughal Dynasty.

Stop At: Qutub Minar, Qutb Minar, Mehrauli, New Delhi 110030 India

Continue on a guided tour of New Delhi, which reflects the legacy that the British left behind. You will visit Qutab Minar, the tallest stone tower in India built to establish the might of Islam and onset of Muslim rule in India.

Later on, Drop back to your hotel. Rest For the day and enjoy your evening. The chauffeur will report at 9 am tomorrow at your hotel Lobby.
