About this activity
We will explore the colorful culture of Old Delhi along with her backstories, sumptuous foods, and hyper-local experiences.

We begin our journey from the Jama Masjid built in 17th century by Shah Jahan, then walking along the walls of Red Fort we will grab the history of Delhi Sultanate.

Next, we stop at a very special place of worship 'Sisganj Sahib Gurudwara' (a Sikh place of worship)! You will feel a sense of peace and spiritual upliftment inside this holy shrine. This holy place commemorates 9th Sikh guru, Guru Tegbahadur and his sacrifice.

Then we head towards an interesting game of 'Pigeon flying' (Kabootarbaazi), which involves trained pigeons flying in groups and convincing other pigeons to leave their own flock and join them instead, as the owners whistle vehemently like birds of prey and wave flags to create confusion.

To satiate our taste buds, we will try some lip-smacking Delhi delicacies like Aloo Tikki and Dahi Bhalle, while enjoying the bustling market of Chandni Chowk.

Then, we'll walk to Haveli of Iconic Urdu Poet Mirza Ghalib and get a Glimpse of his life & works.

Finally, the walk ends at calm and peaceful Fatehpuri Mosque.
