About this activity
Step out of comfort zone on a kaleidoscopic half-day walking tour of Old Delhi and feel like you have wandered onto the set of a Bollywood movie!

Tour will start at a pre-selected central point in the city, from where a professional guide will help to navigate through the Delhi Metro. Ride to Old Delhi and step back in time to experience Delhi much as it was 100 years ago!

During the tour, visit the Jamma Masjid, the largest mosque in the city, and a masterpiece of 17th-century architecture. Stroll through the Chandni Chowk area to the Sikh temple of Seeshganj Sahib Gurudwara, and try your hand at making chapati in the community kitchen.

Sample traditional Indian street snacks, such as chai and samosas. Learn how Masala tea is made, and wander down the Parathe Wali Gali, a street dedicated to paratha makers and vendors since the 1800s.

Marvel at beautifully decorated bazaars and see if you can pick up a bargain as you interact with the locals. A visit to the Red Fort can also be arranged at the end of your tour on request. Alternatively, your guide will help organize a tuk tuk or taxi back to your hotel (own expense).
